IELTS is accepted by major countries like the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States of America and Australia. Comprising four sections, the test will judge your grasp on the language and is used as a measure to see whether you will be able to manage in a foreign country from a language perspective. The test is generally easy and is used to check how efficient and proficient the candidate is in the English language.

The IELTS results will be given as a band score on a scale from 0-9, where each band corresponds to a different proficiency and different grasp on the language. Absolutely, 0 is for new users of the language, while people who score 9 are expert users.
All four sections – reading, writing, speaking and listening – will be allocated their own band score, and the overall score will be an average of 4.
If you are not happy with your results, then there is a provision to apply for a review of the test, which must be done within 6 weeks of sitting for the exam. Candidates will be required to pay an enquiry fee, which will be fully refunded if any discrepancies are found. Additionally, a new TRF will be mailed.
